Per the videographer, he should be done with the second video sometime tomorrow. Yay!
I've got a question for everyone, though. Would you prefer to have the videos delivered to you on a DVD, a flash drive, or via Dropbox?

Hi, everyone.
My name is Stephanie Most. I arranged for all three performances of Hairspray to be recorded so that all of us parents could have a copy.
Unfortunately, I don't have anybody's email addresses, save but a few of you. What I do have is an envelope with the names of some of your kids written on it. Those children have parents who paid me $40 to provide them with copies of the performances, which I am thrilled to be able to do.
Until now, Karen Peterson has graciously been acting as a go-between for me. However, what I'd really like to do is be able to update everybody directly, so that we don't have a multiple-person game of Telephone going on as I try to disseminate information about the videos.
I have asked Karen to please direct parents here to this blog if they come to her asking about the videos--any questions you have may be left in the comments, and I promise I'll get to them as immediately as possible. I'd like to be able to relieve Karen of the responsibility for getting this information out--the production of the videos was and is my responsibility.
Not only will having your contact information let me keep you up to date on the progress of the videos, but will allow me to notify you when they're done and will be sent! That's pretty important!
So, some housekeeping--the envelope I have has these names on it:

All this being said, let me tell you about the progress of the videos.
Thus far, the videographer has returned one performance to me. I have not yet gotten the other two performances. It is my understanding that Karen told everybody that they would get all three videos, and for that reason, (and the fact that I don't know who they go to) I have yet to disseminate them. I am in contact with the videographer, and am waiting to see when the other two videos will be complete.
I will update immediately upon getting further information. I will also answer all comments or questions as soon as I see them. I do work full time, so I most likely will be checking for questions and comments in the evenings. Additionally, my email address is mostlystef@yahoo.com if you'd like to contact me that way. I'm more than happy to talk to anybody about any of this.
